I was told the Ladder Washington Township has was originally from Nashville.  There was a story the appartus was wrecked, Sutphen bought it back, rebuilt it and then sold it to Washington Township to be used las a reserve apparatus.  Try this link for a picture.  Look for the link on the Left side for Station 91 Washington.

Ok, I will fill everyone in on the Sutphen TDA's....

We have one that was bought back at an auction, its the spartan cab/sutphen ladder, its a 1994.

Eastern Kentucky Univ. has one they use in their fire classes.

The FDIC tillerhouse/platform, was wrecked, rebuilt, then eventually scrapped.

The Mamaroneck TDA is still there as far as I knew. I havent heard much from up there to confirm.

Sutphens Tillers were a concept of Tom Sutphen, he bought the rights/patents when Maxium went out of buisness. There were
as best as I can remember 4... maybe 5 built. Only 1 was a platform.... that was the FDIC truck.

The main problem is the market isnt strong enough for any real production.... there are only a few that have been produced in
   the last number of years.

Anyone has any questions or wants a pic of the combo TDA at our shop in mothballs, let me know. When I get back in to the
shop, I'll try to get a cpl new pics of it.
