You can either buy some C3's for parts (damaged on ebay) or you'll have just as good a luck making them yourself with some Styrene rod and brass wire/rod!

Check with Code3Nagi p.4 of buy/sell, he sells all kinds of parts. His post is 1/64 scale parts for sale, so look for that and he just might have what your looking for or e-mail him. Hope that helps! Wink

If it turns out that you can't find any and you're willing to take a stab at it, I can send you a   "HOW TO"  (make your own)  that results in what I think are good replicas.  See attached photo of a 1/64th scale LAPD car that I added spotlights to using a similar method.  Undecided

Drop me an I.M. if you are interested.

Here is a 1:64th scale car made into a Detroit Police Car (early graphics).  This was primarily an experiment with the spotlights.  I am not yet satisfied as I think they are still too large and I need more of a sharp bend in the control arms.  Otherwise, it didn't turn out too bad.   Undecided

... and here are a few more.   Looks pretty good with the Code 3 DFD... Smiley Smiley

Dang !!!  Angry  I didn't realize the setting was too high until I posted these photos.  I'm sorry about the size being too large for easy viewing.  Still have more to learn about taking photos and their resulting sizes.  Embarrassed Embarrassed

How about posting a how to do spotlights for all of us?
I think it would be a great thing to do, and that is why we are all here to learn, admire and share our creations. Nice work on the police cars!

I Thank You very much for the compliment on the car.

As for the Tutorial...  I will do so as soon as I finish putting one together.  I just wanted to see if there was any interest.   Smiley Smiley

(...and this time I will remember the correct camera settings so the photos will be easier to see.)  Embarrassed

I have been dealing with "estate" issues since my mother passed recently (3 months ago but seems like yesterday).  Things have ramped up a bit as of late, but I'm hopeful to have this tutorial put together by next week.   Undecided

When done, I will make a new topic and post it here in the tips section.  Please bear with me... Thanks.
