The oldest models in the collection are an ambulance I got in the 1950s and some 1/25th kits that I made in the early 1970s. The collection is housed in my "hobby room" which is a large room built on the back of a 30 x 60 garage next to my house. The main room is about 14 x 30; there is a 10 x 10 storeroom off of the entry from the garage and an attached full bathroom. It is heated and cooled (temp today here is 109!) and makes a great hide-away from the rest of the house.... The first few photos are general shots of the display cases and then I'll send some closeups of separate areas -- Smith superpumper, Fire Brigade Models, varios CFRs, and some closeups of various HO models....
